So my 03 350z is all messed up i was driving it one day and the vdc light and slip light turned on and the car doesnt go past 1500 rpms. When i start it cold it does rev up fine and then when it warms up the vdc light and slip light turns on and it wont rev up. The check enging light does turn on and i get a tps code i checked the voltage and continuity and it all check out fine any one have any idea what this could be... (the brake fluid is topped off)

This is one of the codes i got but i checked out everything by the instructions and all checked out.P12291229Sensor power supplycircuit shortECM detects a voltage of power source forsensor is excessively low or high. Harness or connectors(The TP sensor 1 and 2 circuit is shorted.) Electric throttle control actuator(TP sensor 1 and 2) ECM pin terminal

I also got this code is that the steering angle sensor?
P05500550Power steering pressuresensor circuitAn excessively low or high voltage from thesensor is sent to ECM. Harness or connectors(The sensor circuit is open or shorted)
hey bro i put money that its your mass air flow sensor. the mass air flow sensor blows balls. and you always have to get them replaced. my car was doing the samething. i would definately try and clean out the sensor or just replace it. i would say just replace it unless if you dont have the money than just clean it. let us know.

You need to check your power steering pressure switch for a short or open. The 1229 code is telling you one of the main ecu signals is shorted or open and the 550 is telling you more specifically the power steering pressure sensor circuit has a problem.
The sensor could be shorting out as heat builds up, but the sensor may not be the problem. It may be in the wiring harness you just need to find the short or open in the ps sensor circuit which could be the sensor or the wiring. A multimeter is your friend. Another possibility is an ecu circuit failure though not likely.
So i checked the wiring for the power steering pressure sensor and it all checks out,I loose the signal from the sensor when it goes into limp mode. Does the computer stop the signal to the pss when it goes into limp mode, or does the car go into limp mode when when it looses the signal? thanks

I have this same problem out of my 05 roadster.... any1 ever figure what causes it? Would mounting directional tires on it the wrong way cause it to activate?
