--------------------------------------------------------------------------------Hi,

My G35 had a service engine soon light on the dash, service was done, and tires were also replaced. I drove the car after this and everything seemed to be fine, however, the service engine soon light was still not off. I parked my g35 at home and since I wanted the light to go away I disconnected the battery and when I tried to turn the car back on it was dead and would not start at all. It is not a battery problem since my battery is good. It is also not the starter. I tried pressing the vdc button right next to the steering wheel many times and the car still does not turn on. Also, all fuses/fusibles were already all checked and they are fine. The gas cap was also checked and it is okay. The car has been there parked over three days already and undrivable . Has anyone had this problem before? Please advise, what can I do? Thanks!

So you are saying the car will not turn over or it does nothing at all? If it does nothing, have you tried a jump. If it turns over and will not start, with those "idiot lights" being on, I will probably say it is your TPS sensor. They are known to go bad.

It is located on or near the throttle body. I doubt that is your issue, if it won't even turn over. You sure you have a good connection on the battery terminals?

+1

I have an 06 but when checking my battery cells with a hydrometer a couple of weeks ago I noticed that the positive battery terminal has two connections off the positive terminal.

I believe that if the 05 is similar than one of them is making good contact accounting for the dash lights but the other one may go to the starter selenoid. If that is not making a good connection that would account for a jump start not working either.

Check all battery connections
