vdc and slip

hello picked up a 07 infiniti qx56 beautiful machine but cannot figuire out why the slip light stays on and vdc stays off when pressing button cleared all codes with snap-on odb11 found 1144 maybe steering alingment ?? how can i repair this or is it only a dealer fix tks

could be low brake fluid, sensor malfunction, or an issue with the ABS system.

check for the armada of the same year and use the code you found as they are the same build for the most part and birthed on the same line.

hello thanks for the reply So the fluid is good believe its the steering angle sensor code 1144 is there a way to reset this ,ie pressing cruise resume 5x then set 5x, or holding vdc down when starting, would this effect the performance or gas millage if allways in slip and vdc off, the rearend would be locked in posi or in auto would 4x4 be engaged at highway speeds when not needed , not sure if i should try to repair this or leave it untill spring then pull out steering column to replace sensor?? also pull dash and repair loose tach needle also this was a wreck on right side and needed some adjusting for alignment steering wheel was off by 30 degrees

So i fixed it was the steering sensor code 1144 went back to garage that did alignment showed them the procedure to cleared error code with code reader while wheel was straight, both slip and vdc off lights cleared , vdc comes on or off with switch now
