My 1995 G20 seems have have a slight oil leak from around the valve cover, which if I understand right indicates that the VC gasket needs replacement. However, I just had it replaced a year and a half ago. The car also has 165K on it and the weather in New England has been brutally cold recently, which may factor into it. Should I be worried about this or chalk it up to age and cold weather?

If the gaskets are new, when it warms up to above 55°F, you may want to back off the VC bolts, then toeque in the correct sequence in the correct number of steps (or more) with a calibrated torque wrench.
