varying tomei orifice instructions

ok, there are two sets of instructions for the tomei oil orifice, one says to leave vvt alone, which is in the middle, block off front, and install orifice in rear. now the tomei instructions say to just install restrictor in middle (vvt oil) which one should i do, this is all i need to get my motor back from macvhine shop tonight soo please !!! help !!!

leave the vtc feed alone, restrict that and cause damage to the vtc system.restrict the 2 feeds, done.

ijust followed tomei instructions and did the center line near the 3rd piston

According to the instruction table from SAU, you are supposed to leave the VVT alone, block the front oil feed, and restrict the rear. What you did was restrict the front oil feed.

After experiencing some difficulty with my lifters after my head rebuild, I'm questioning blocking the front feed. I would recommend restricting as Carl said especially if you are still running hydraulic lifters.
