Various vehicles 0-60 TIMES! ... Disturbing stuff!

I found this website that has a bunch of different 0-60 times & it's a little disturding.

the g35 come in at 6.20. I have timed it by stop watch 3 times & unless I'm starting off wrong My times are in the 7.5 range. Am I dong something wrong? The tires don't chirp due to awd & turning off VDC doesn't change that. Whats worse is the list of cars that are faster.

2004 Subaru Forester 2.5XT Turbo???? 0-60 is 5.25's??? Ecchh! So some ole lady in a station wagon is going to smoke me?

Stopwatch isnt nearly as reliable as magazine tests.Also most magazine testers drive those cars much harder than an actual owner ever would.

If you are willing to abuse your clutch a bit, you will come up with faster numbers.

I second that. Stopwatch is not a good method - get G-tech. Pretty precise given you input exact weight.

And Forrester XT with 5-speed will outrun you from stop. Given the driver knows how to drive. Tested.

What they said, the stopwatch isn't very accurate. I'm certain you can run quicker than 7.5. And yeah that Forrester is surprisingly quick. But the G still has the Forrester whipped when it comes to style.

I don't agree that magazine editors get better times out of the cars. If you check magazine numbers and then go out into the forums and see what these cars are running you will notice that many owners can drive their cars considerably faster than the mag numbers indicate. Also, the reverse is true. It's driver.

haha, thats hilarious. I had no idea a McLaren could do 0-60 in 2.6 seconds That site is a joke, i wouldnt trust anything on there.

Good find. I've been wondering what the quarter mile time on the A34 Maxima was. 6.34. Nice.

But they forgot one. Volkswagen Microbus (the one from the 60's, not the concept or any new versions) 1 minute 15 seconds--I witnessed this one myself. Some guy in a Microbus actually ran at the midnight drags. That's pretty sad. Think about that. Your G takes just over 20 seconds. This thing takes four times that long.
