So on the throttle body is a wax? type auto choke type thing to raise idle when its cold I imagine. On the rear of the plenum is what appears to be an IAC. How does this IAC work as ive taken it off and just cant see what makes it tick.

The fuel system is unlike any ive seen before. Each rail is joined by a hose running along the front of the motor. At the rear most end of each rail is what looks like a small FPR. Each FPR goes to one of the two in/out pipes.
I can not understand how this works. Its not the usuall high pressure feed and low pressure return with FPR releasing any fuel not wanted down the drain.

cold start is a thermowax design, coolant runs thru the tb and melts the wax...this allows for a mechanical cold start as there isnt much space for an electric cold start.
it can be removed to clean up the 'clutter' on the tb but imho is best left in place.

iacv is nothing more than a solenoid that follows a set duty cycle, like an injector but for air.

vh45 has a fuel pressure dampener and a fuel pressure regulator, dampener is on the feed end, regulator is on the return.
do not mix the two up, engine will not run.
