A great resource for Nissan Sentra, Infiniti G20, 200sx, Pulsar, NX1600, NX2000, Tsuru, Primera and Sunny owners.

mine rattles as i pull off from cold. i know this is the rattle as i have now disconnected it and all is fine. i have removed it from the engine and given it a good clean up. i also applied 12v direct to it and the plunger did energise, although i must say not straight away. it kind of thought about it then jumped about. anyway i placed it back in to the engine and reconnected the harness and went to go for a drive. once again it rattles. with engine running i removed the harness and applied 12v direct. it clicked and the engine went unstable for a second or 2. Q: should i leave this disconnected or replace the fella? if it is suggested that a replacement is best can someone advise on a supplier as Nissan charge lots for everything in the UK.

Head to the Silvia/240SX forum, this forum refers to the US 200SX. Sorry for the confusion and welcome to NICO!

In the future, you can navigate in a few ways. There's a sidebar on the right that lists vehicles. Also if you scroll up on this page you'll see just above the thread title Some links (underlined) to NICOclub, click that, then scroll through the list to find the 240SX/Silvia forum.

Everyone takes a little bit to figure out the system, no worries.
