The other day I tried slice the varad scanner to my alarm and clock. It worked fine, but then all of a sudden the clock is not working, the scanner doesn't work, the AC shuts down on its own after the engine is turned off and back on, the personal odometer resets itself. Did I short out the wire or the fuse? Help!

disconnect the after market components. first and then check if everything works ok. if not you probably put the car in a fail safe mode or worse damaged a control module. most of the bells and whistles on the newer nissans are operated by a control unit . when you slice into the wireing in the car you confuse or worse yet damage the control units. and now with the even newer models if you wire something in like that you can do some serious damage to the vehicle CAN system. Control Area Network. network means just that every control module on the vehicle communicates much like your server does with this sites server. welcome to modern technoligy!
