Whenever I run my 92 240 for awhile, shut it off, then start it back up after ten minutes or more, it feels like it vapor locks. It runs, but really rough and sputters bad, making no power whatsoever. Usually after a couple hard revs, it instantly goes back to normal, but today driving home for 10 minutes straight, it wouldn't quit doing it. I started it back up three hours later and it ran fine again.

Does an KA24DE have a cold start valve?

Anyone have this problem before? I had a 79 280zx with a stock L28E that would do the same thing in the summertime when it was warm, but would always run fine after a couple revs.

Any ideas/suggestions would be greatly appreciated

I went to fire it up this morning after it sat all night, and it did it again, only this time the engine was completely cold. I checked the computer and it does the mode 1 (off) LED on just fine, and the only code that it shows is a 55 (everything's okay).

I looked for vacuum leaks, but couldn't find anything. All the hoses seem to be in great shape, and nothing's loose.

Ideas?

Also, is there some trick to removing the injectors? I tried pulling one and it wouldn't budge...
