vig, my car is still at dennis still. the motor had to be pulled out again for both of the turbos to get rebuild again. apparently Ash from Ash Spec when he built the motor he left a good amount of metal shavings inside of the motor, it blocked the oil passage to the turbos, they got over heated.
It runs as of now, but it's experiencing some smoking problem from the driver side exhaust. he is working on that right now, i hope he doesn't have to pull the motor again.

I had a bad feeling about that motor Pos. if anyone can get it running right though, Dennis is the guy. I went to the sports clinic today as I fractured my wrist last night and saw a MKIV Supra in the "physician parking". Needless to say I was excited as i've never seen a Supra in Asheville. I took a pic but i'm to tired to upload it right now ha.

The problem isn't the metal shavings, the problem is that you didn't know they were there. Little bits of metal are very common in fresh motors. It's really just bad luck that they blocked up the passages to the turbos. Sorry to hear man.

Beast, I was thinking about that supercharger idea the other day and I came up with this: Pull your NA motor. Buy some lower compression pistons and a set of TT wristpins (you could actually just use stock TT stuff as everything will still bolt up to your stock NA motor). Install some 500+cc injectors, get either a Walbro or a TT pump (TT's flow more but they can be expensive) and then buy a centrifugal supercharger with its own oiling system. If you can make a bracket and get it set up, BAM 350whp easy (and headroom for much more with intake/exhaust done). If I still had my NA motor I'd literally sell off my VH stuff and do this. You could probably get it all done for $3k if you do it all yourself.

when i got screwed over by some dirty mechanics they messed it up, i think they have to reset the ECU or adjust a sensor somewhere, i'm not sure. does anyone know how to get that fix?
