You're in the Pro American-Car part of the country. Just takes some jackass hater to spoil what you've invested time & money into.

Yeah that happens a lot down there. It's not just to imports. It's really to any nice cars. At my sister's high school (in north carolina), if you brought a nice car there you were garunteed to get loads of key marks all the way along side the car, and that's if you got off light. Plus my sister's had a brick thrown through her windshield at college. She drives a stock civic, nothing riced at all. People are jealous as hell down there and can't stand to see anybody do better then them in life, which is funny when most of those people go on welfare.

maybe hit and run, and not vandalism? thats how I'd play it, if I were you. Hit and run goes under the no fault insurance.

Why would it be insurance fraud? Vandalism is covered under Comprehensive (or Other Than Collision) coverage.

Talk to your insurance agent and see if it's worth submitting the claim. Anyway, sorry to hear about the Z. That truly sucks.

Well the color all depends on what you want out of it. I mean do you want a "hey look at me" F&F kinda color? Or do you want something that is more traditional. I mean any color can be made to look like a million bucks if done right. My vote would be to go with a classic color done right and maybe add in some pearl.

EDIT : On a different topic....what are those two round spots on the hood?

sry, my mild sense of humor is very hard to grasp....

well i guess you would to have to convice that is was vandalism, not an accidental collision. Keyword, convince.

I think I'm gonna have to vote either Sapphire or Meditteranean blue.

or get a little Ford in there and get a nice glossy Periwinkle blue. By far the best shade of blue ever to come from a factory.

I'd go with a darker shade, nothing really bright. Yellows probably wouldn't suit the body of the Z32 very well either...perhaps a british racing green if you'd like to keep it green though...

keep in mind I'm just throwing out ideas. It's your car, paint it as you see fit. I just ask one thing, no pastels. God I hate pastels....

Geez that sucks.

Do you have an a alarm system on the car? I'd upgrade to the one that has the motion detector, those are awesome.

p.s. it's nice to see another chick on the board that doesn't have a "omghi2usexy300zxchick" username.

Thanks to all for the support, unfortunately it will not be painted right now being that all the $$$ is going to the daughters X-mas presents...lol but yes I was thinking of a blue. If you seen the latest Super Street I love the color of the Celica, but it will probably be a dark blue with a silver pearl maybe I don't know. As for the name, it's just a name nothing spectacular, I'm not that creative to come up with a long name like that.. I guess.

It just really sucks that I was looking for engine stuff and now I have to spend that money on a new bumper.

I can't see any pics but I am assuming you have a bodykit? My advice is this, take the kit off and sell whatever of it that you can, get that money, get the car painted a nice traditional and low-key color, then spend whatever else money on go-fast mods

But, what can I say, I love the clean stock look of cars.

A good claims adjuster would know either way. They see a lot of stuff, and in general aren't stupid people.
