so i get home from bowling (well to my friends house) at like 1am this morning, and i go to get in my car (my other friend drove us) and i see there is writing on my back window. I think "oh ok, thats fine, its window paint, no biggie, they had their fun". But, as I walk to my door, i realize there is writing on my front and back driver's windows as well. So its fine, i can just clean my windows. But then I realize.... i HUGE splat of egg on the windshield, and all on the side of the car. Now, im 17. I've gotten into the teenage trouble, but why do people decide to do stuff like this to entertain themselves?

Ill have pictures in the morning, but if anyone has any advice as to what i should do, what i should do to get it off, and all that, lemme know.

Thanks, Cole

Cold water is your friend. You don't want to use hot water, or get the egg hot in any way, that will cook it... and make it stick.

I went through a period where once a week, every week, my car would get egged. I knew who was doing it... and I just waited. Eventually it stopped because he went to jail on something completley unrelated.

Was the car parked in the driveway or street?

lol amen to that, pretty much, they hit my stepdad's car too, who lives 20 mins away from where i was, but that night was either a ton of coincidences or someone really hates me.

my friend admitted to writing on the windows, not that big of a deal, just window paint.

my car got egged as well, he admitted to being there, which automatically puts suspicion on him, but i know him well enough where he would NEVER do anything like that to anyones car cause he has like $5000 worth of paint damage from people doing **** to his car

my stepdads car gets egged 20 mins away

so it could have been just a ton of coincidences, or some a-holes that i pissed off.

better make sure the girl doesnt have a boyfriend before i start talking to them =p

just kidding. sorry im ranting so much, this stuff is so frustrating.

If you want to compare 'vandalizm', Vahagn ... Some kid in my neighborhood got his two cars torched about two months back. THAT's vandalism.

And then about two weeks after that every honda in our community parking area was broken into and had all wiring (behind the steering column) and stereos stolen. Makes me happy that i didn't buy the Fit

waitwaitwaitwait....

your friend admitted to being there?

if a friend of mine admitted to 'being there' if the Camel ever gets vandalized, I will beat them. No really, they'll have to drag my @$$ to jail and book me. I'd have to turn my back on them (okay, that's really funny if you've ever seen Naboo do it in The Mighty Boosh)...

or, instead of beating them, I'd just drive them to the POLICE STATION AND HAVE THEM BOOKED!!

Honestly, I love my car more... vehicular window paint is one thing... but eggs and bologna and other non-intended items being placed/throw/smeared on the car and possibly causing permanent damage... NOT FUNNY! (I could handle saran warp because it doesn't damage the vehicle... unless you scratch it while you're doing it... basically no permanent damage. or you pay for it. PERIOD)

I'd be out for blood... That doesn't fly.

ROFL!! I'm breathing normally again... ;oD (and I've had dinner, alcohol, and a chance to get out of the house this evening which helps when you've spent the entire weekend with a sick, ornery child attached to you... Shane stopped by and I escaped.)

...

I'm glad I missed GreatWhite's comment on the two cars that were torched... I may have had an aneurysm right here at the iMac...

As am I. I would hate to feel responsible for putting any Mac through a traumatic experience like that.

Reading this thread makes me thankful I have a garage to park in every night. Sure, it's no guarantee something won't happen, but I'm sure it lowers the chances a bit.

This thread was painful to read though. I never have...nor would...even as a teenager...messed with someone's car. That's an expensive piece o equipment. Be it a 15K Versa or 2K beater...seriously...this is probably as low as some spineless person could go that was too wishy washy to even confront you face to face (if indeed it was someone you ticked off and not random)

There was a car in the parking garage here at work (nothing great a 5 year old car or so) that had stuff like "adulterer" and "cheater" spraypainted all over it. Apparently the girl's husband/boyfriend/whatever was enraged over that...not sure of the truth in the accuasations though... but hard to look at nonetheless.

Did they throw eggs at the car? Have a VERY close look all over the body. My wife's wagon got egged a couple of years ago. After I washed the egg off I noticed the panel had a shallow dent about the size of a fist and the paint was damaged under the clear coat. I had a panel shop have a look and it was going to cost AU$3500-AU$4000 to fix! Poor car has so many small dents and scratches we didn't bother.

lol possibly, i go to a private school, i like the school, but HATE the kids, cause, me and my mom arent RICH. my grandparents pay my tuition, and me and my mom split the car payment and grandparents pay the insurance, dont get me wrong, i know were fortunate, but were not rich.

haha... but back to my point. EVERYONE there is spoiled. A girl got an infinity g35 and didnt like the color. and cried and made her parents take it back.(sounds like an episode of supersweet 16 if you ask me)

he also has an 05 mustang.... so i dunno what there is to be jealous, i just think he is a giant d-bag, or he needs one.
