Is there a spring / plastic piece that goes into the aac solenoid? i think it fell out when i unscrewed the solenoid.

It looks like it's torn up on the bottom.. do i need it??

The AAC has a plunger and spring. Without the spring, the unit will not work correctly.

yeah, you need the piston/plunger for it to work. I cant tell by your picture what that is. that might be from the ficd? you might not need the ficd if you dont have a/c. if that is the aac piston your unit wont work.

this is a picture of the aac piston from 1995 and it looks different from my1991.
