valves wont pop up???

okay so i jsut put in the brian crower V2 cams 264/264 intake/exhaust and i went to put in my cams and turned it over and nothing happend, so i went and looked at it an my valves sit at least a 1/4 in. down from the cam.

how do i get the valves to pop back up. and by the way its only on all my intake valves

i just re-read... The valves probably arent stuck, it'd be surprising to hear Only all of the intake valves got stuck down.

so you put in new cams and when they turn over the crest of the lobe is a quarter inch away from the valves? You didnt mess with the valvetrane and not put the intake side buckets back in, right? cuz its not like the valves get slapped open more than the lobes push them down. if the ONly thing you did was replace the cams, sounds like you got a bum intake cam.

i believe the crower cam is a regrind style cam and you have to use shims to get the right static height so that the new lobe lift will work, contact crower and they will tell you how to do this.

thats the thing my exhaust cam rides on the valve caps or bucket if you wish to call it and i have brian crower cams.
