valves VE DE

hi, just a quick question about valves, got two duff ones in my sr20ve and in nz there not too cheap. $110 bucksw plus gst plus postage from japan and about a 2 week wait. i can get a DE head for cheap but dows anyone know if the valves will fit?????

also anyone got a manual for a VE, will need to know the set up for the cam timing and also valve clearance.

Valves are different, you need to get the VE ones.

Don't think we have a manual for the VE, but you can try the FSM link in my signature.

ok got the valves and all fitted into the head. neet to know the head torque settings and valve clearancesanyone got any info, there is no VE on fsm, i am now standing here with the head on the car waiting to torque it down

Here's some SR torque specs. I don't see any reason they should be different for a VE (or any other SR variant) as the heads are all aluminum.

Tighten all bolts to 29 ft-lbsTighten all bolts to 58 ft-lbsLoosen all bolts completely.Tighten all bolts to 33 ft-lbsTurn all bolts 90 , then turn another 90 degrees
