This is probably a newb question, but its my first time taking the head of my ka24de. I know in order to do so i have to take the cams out of the head. When i take the head off, will the valves fall out of the ports? Might seem like a newb question but i just wanted to make sure. thanks

Each of the camshaft lobes sit on (in order down to the valve): a shim, valve lifter, valve cotter, spring retainer, valve spring, spring seat and a valve oil seal. The cotter holds the valve in place. So no, your valve won't fall out. Might I suggest having someone with some experience assist you? - Hope this helps and good luck.

im assuming you are taking the head off to replace your headgasket... well, i am too :chuckle: . after i watched this guy's video i felt confidident about doing it myself, so i reccommend you watch this a few times before you grab your wrenches :dblthumb: lol good luck!
