Valves and timing HELP!

SO im planing to buy some performace cams for my 240sx 96 someone mentioned the BC 272 cams what work with the valves and lifters do i need to do the whole camshaft and lifters dilema quite franlky confuses the hell outta me and i dont feel like blowing my engine its in perfect stock form right now and all the components are in great shape so im taking this slowly and getting as much info as i can i am planning to go DET with this car and it is still going to be my daily driver im curious if installed withotu the turbo will i suffer lack of power or performance without the turbo?? but before that i would really like to have the whole valve lift explanined ??

those are pretty big cams compaired to stock so i think you would need to get valve springs and valves in order to use those cams and i also think that it would run pretty rough with those as well
