Has anyone changed valve stem seals out without having to pull the head. I know you can use compressed air to hold the valves up with but wanted to hear some experienced answers. Any input?

I haven't done it honestly, but I do know that you don't *need* to use compressed air. You can also use the piston to keep the valves up. Just remember to rotate the crakshaft to TDC for each set of valves you're working on. I had a hard enough time just finding a tool that would compress the springs without having to pull the head. Never found one that actually fit right.

Someone on FA showed me a website to order a spring compressor from. I know there are local places to get one as well so.... I also have an extra head to practice on beforehand. I'm getting valvestem seals from the dealership from a b13 exhaust side. Someone correct me if I'm wrong but I do believe they work.
