im almost finished my vh45 single turbo 300zx project and about to do the final assembly of it all . Ive seen some a few people saying to get harder valve springs when turboing it because the factory ones are very soft , whats the opinion on here . Ill probably only be running 6-8psi

Jerry (GS14racer) is running about 450hp on a supercharger and I believe he is using the factory springs. I don't think you will need to upgrade unless you are running high boost.

^^^ What he said. You should be good. Even running high Hp levels you will be good if you don't boost crazy.

I would think you only need stronger springs if you are running sustained high rpm and or a higher lift cam. Since you are going to have boost you can run in a lower rpm range anyway. JMO
