Which would you prefer and why. The BoostDesigns combo for $350http://boostdesigns.com/store/...id=65

Or the KA24DE.COM combo for $459http://www.ka24de.com/

I'm going to be using the V3 Cams. So I'll need a very good Spring setup.

both of them are mede by supertech. what is the difference? am i missing something? both kits are supertech Chrome Silicon Vanadium Steel springs with titanium retainers. if they are esentially the same i think it's a no brainer, but if i'm missing something in the fine print then point it out to me.

the only thing that ka24de.com mentions are the specially designed inner spring seats, but i don't know that those are only offered with ka24de's kit, or with bd's kit also. otherwise the stiffness is different (bd's are stiffer). is that it? are you wondering whether or not to go with the extra stiff ones?

I guess it depends HOW stiff those springs need to be to work well with V3 cams...I'd contact the manufacturer of the cams and ask what would be better suited...96 lbs or 75 lbs @ ~34 mm...If the 75 lbs work well, I'd go with them over the 96 lb ones, which seem a little overkill and would just cause a greater amount of friction and wear compared to the 75 lb ones.

Are you also getting oversized valves to complement the stiffer springs and aggressive cams?

Not doing bigger valves...Atleast not in the plans, I'm just going to port and polish the head and add some new cams and valvetrain.
