I am burning oil and think i got it down to being the valve seats. I have a 89 ka24e i was wondering if anyone knew how much i am looking at - parts and labor. Thanx

About $1000-$1500 for parts and labor at a shop with a labor rate at about 45.

I would check the valve seals first. I regrind and head rework should cost alot less. I would guess around $500 to $800

The price I gave you was for a mechanic to pull the head and send it to the machine shop to have the work done etc. The machine shop should charge what bj180sx said.
