Valve/Lifter Noise

So for some reason I decided to switch to mobil 1 synthetic oil on my KA24E. I noticed definite lifter noise after the oil change. I'd say the engine was ran for about 20 minutes with the synthetic. After that I changed out the mobil one and put in conventional - but the noise is still there....

What can I do to quiet it down?

I should note the noise only appears when the engine is warm.

So my choices are to:

Run engine flush through the system

Pull off the valve cover and visually inspect

Take it to a mechanic for an evaluation

Run thicker oil than 10W-30

just use regular oil they are good enough. you might get issues with synthetic.
