Okay today after rebuilding my engine and getting my turbo setup (current at 3psi) I have a question about my valve clearance. I did relap my valves and put them all back in original positions same with the buckets as well.

Today I warmed my engine up and I didn't hear no valve noise, but when I check the valve lash I had to valves with a tight clearance.

Exaust 2 at more .254 mm but less than .305 mm
Exaust 7 at more .305 mm but less than .330 mm

My feeler gauges jump to many mm to be precise.

I know the standard for exaust is .33mm, so I ask the question; what can happen if I don't correct the valve lash?

Increased wear and inefficiency on those cylinders.
