valve job questions

I'm replacing the valve stem seals in my g/f's 91 and i'm having a hellava time getting the seals out. Is there some kind of special puller that will work? The head is off the block. This actually started out as a head gasket replacment.

just get a pliers and turn the seals

i use spark plug boot pliers. the snap on catalog actually has a set of valve seal pliers but they are identical to the boot pullers!
