yes, it is a high interference motor, but, theres always a chance that you lucked out and missed the valves, yank ur rocker cover and check for bent/dropped valves.

I think you would be hard pressed to find a motor these days that isn't an interference design.

I personally like the idea of the interference design, how it allows high compression AND high valve lift.

However, sucks to be you if something goes wrong.
