how difficult is it to replace vavle guide seals? I tinks mine be bad ....car smokes upon start up and some times when idle..never over heats and has 180 all the way across on compression. It seems to burn about quart of oil every 1200 miles or two weeks. oh and yeah theres no water loss its definitley burning the oil not leaking it(I have had it on lift several times to check for a leak) so what ya tink?

not hard. You need to make sure your valve doesn't fall into the cylinder though. Just use some pliers to grab out the valve stem sealand push in the new one with the back end of a socket and give it a good jab. lol

just know that it will require a special tool to get the valve spring off so you have access to valve stem seal. it costs like $125 from snap on.
