yea....so i painted my notch top valve cover. then went to do the lettering. effed up. decided to strip all the paint off with some brush on aircraft paint stripper stuff.works good but i need to hose the valve cover down real good to get it clean and i'm concerned about getting water in the hose fittings that lead inside the valve cover. i can see that 1 of them leads right out, no biggie. but the other two look like they lead to a top part of the valve cover that is closed off.so my question is, should i be worried if i get water in there and if i do, how can i be sure to get it clean and get it out?

youll be just fine, hose the $hit outa it! i just striped all the paint off mine, hosed it, ground the letters off, then polished it, just be sure to dry it really well and let it sit for a day, then shake it and make sure all the water is gone.hope this helps
