alright so i noticed that my valve cover has a bunch of oil below it doesnt look like the headgasket is leaking
this is kinda a noob question but should i spend the money for the valve cover gasket or just use form a gasket
its a ka24e so theirs no spark plug gaskets

Buy an OEM VC gasket, not expensive and not hard to change.

i would also make sure all sealing surfaces are clean and use rtv as well. it is recommended to use rtv in many places. nissan has deleted many of the oem gaskets for rtv.
