First time poster. I have searched high and low and cannot find a complete write-up on replacing the valve cover gaskets on the VQ35DE ('04 Pathfinder LE V-6). I have a leaky gasket on the passenger side but figured I would replace both since the upper intake plenum would be removed. There is a write-up for the threadlocker on power valve screws but was curious if there is a more complete one for the valve covers and pvc. Pathy currently has approximately 130K and is in excellent shape besides the leaky gasket. Please help! :ohno:

I also am on the same quest, my suggestion is to look on youtube for video forums showing similar repair procedures on say a Nissan quest or a vehicle from the Nissan family with a 3.5L engine. I also have the Haynes manual for my vehicle which shows step by step procedures. I can say that make sure you have all the seals/gaskets I:E Upper plenum, sparkplugs and of course the valve cover gaskets themselves. My biggest concern is labeling the vacuum lines and torques specs. I hope this is helpful. Good luck cause I know I'm going to need it don't want to screw my Path up, just doing some preventive maintenance and reach at least 300K miles.
