valve cover leaking?

is anyone having problems with leaky valve covers? I changed my exhaust side to next bolts and i used a new rubber gasket and added silcone but its still leaking. =[

Mine leaked like a sieve until I changed to hex bolts. All dry now. I still get a leak from between the 2 pieces of the cover, but it is much less now.

I think we have all tried to stop the CA leaks at one time or another, I gave up.CA's are supposed to leak oil I think. :-)

Removing and cleaning the rubber seal with metho, and wiping the mating surface down with metho until clean may help.

I haven't tried that. But I'll have my covers off tomorrow, so I'll try it.
