I remember buying oem nissan 300zx valve cover grommets back in the day for cheaper if i remember right, but recently I checked on prices and they're at around $3+ EACH.

Anyone ever use these? Fel-Pro ES72840, I just don't want to buy something that might not even work/press down the valve covers

No, I haven't used those. But $3.00 each is about norm, especially from the dealer. If you are wanting cheap, sell your swap and car, and buy a Ford. Sorry, $3.00 is less than a gallon of gas these days.......

Did I mention I need about 25 pieces, part # 13268-58s01 $3.10 each at thenismoshop, comes out to $77.50 before taxes/shipping
It's more cause it's something so simple, that's more than half the cost of my engine gasket rebuild kit which of course doesn't come with them

I can make the isolators for $1/each. I have also purchased the fasteners locally for people so I can provide an all-inclusive replacement set. That usually ends up adding a dollar per fastener depending on if you want SS or black machine-grade fasteners. E-mail me if you are interested.

I can post pictures of them installed.. so far I think that I'm the only install thus far.. They are simple and effective.

Enable your PM's ;)

I am not currently set up to do this since my tools are in storage right now. :( Plus, I have to relocate my stored crap to new storage so it might be a while until I can get a set or two of these made.

Sorry about that Darius, unfortunately, I'm gonna need them a little sooner, but I'll keep an eye out for when you start making them again.

chad b. thanks for the links...much cheaper than the Z31 FelPro's.
