so my exhaust side valve cover gasket is leaking. should i spring for the gaskets or should i just use some RTV? i have RTV'd quite a few other cars with good luck. just want to know if it will work alright on the CA.

I dont think they're that expensive. I'd replace it. I'm the anit-christ of RTV though. I avoid it if at all possible.

Yeah, it's probably best to do whatever the factory did, but I would still use RTV. I love that stuff.

i always have RTV hanging around, so i'll try that first and see how it goes. worst comes to worst, i'll just spring for the gaskets.
