valve cover gasket

my s13 sr's valve cover gasket went out a while back, and i got a new gasket from advanced auto parts for a sentra SE-R (93) which i thought would work, but today i went to replace it because i got my new coil pakcs in finally, and turns out the gasket is different, it has what looks like a spot for the variable valve timing spot. so what im wondering is if i can just use RTV to re-seal the torn spots in my old gasket, or what would be a possible way to get a new s13 gasket cheaper than the online prices... thanks for your help

you can get the gasket from courtesy nissan, just make sure to order a quantity of 4 spark plug gaskets, I thought they came as a set of four...since what bootlegger only changes one, and it cost me like 20 bucks to get the other three..live and learn
