Valve cover gasket replacement

Information on the naturally-aspirated KA24E and KA24DE engines.

i know theres a certain order to rebolt the cover. unfortunately i lost the chiltons manual. is there an online diagram for it? or does the pattern even matter?

If you want you can do it like by starting one bolt on one end and then tightening the other one on the other end. then just go around in order really... just aslong as you don't over torque them.. if you do you can snap the rubber seal

start in the center and work out from there alternating sides-just like the pattern when torquing a head down-applies to everything with multiple bolts(intakes,heads,covers- whatever)
