valve cover gasket question.

Hey guys, im in the midst of changing the valve cover gaskets when i noticed the half moon part of the gaskets is a seperate piece. i had thrown away the old ones ages ago. (thinkin it was same desgin as sr20det {its all molded together})

So now i have new gaskets but missing half moons for the rear. any ideas? places that have them? any other nissans that have this same desgin so i can go to the local dealer?

kinda peeved my engine gasket kit didnt come with them.

Yeah those weren't in my kit eitherI'd be interested in them as well

Yeah I pulled mine to paint them and reused the old ones with some liquid gasket stuff you get at autozone. It's just black and has worked well on both my RB and B18b motors. Just put a liberal amount and let it dry before you run the motor. I think it takes 24 hours or so.

Never actually tried it but I think pulsar CA18DE ones will work, they are a sysilar type.

what motor do you have? i just looked this up ... for the rb26 its p/n 11051-58s00 its a usdm part, generic rubber plug $1.92 a piece.

I have a RB20DET is it the same part #?Also what is it so I can go pick it up

yea its the same. dunno what it is or what car its from. just give nissan the p/n and they should be able to order it.

gawdzilla is right its 11051-58S00. used on a 300zx in same manner.
