ok, i've done a search and didn't get the info i'm looking for. i know it's not straight forward like on any of the other vehicles i've owned, so i'm looking at what all i have to get/do to take care of leaky valve cover gaskets. since the plenum has to be removed, i'm guessing that there are other "gaskets" that will need to be replaced as well. all info is welcome. since i've decided to keep the car, i want to get rid of my oil leak.

I'm in the same boat(leaky Cover)
You will need to replace all the vacuum lines I'm sure.
Someone who has pulled the plenum should chime in soon.

looks like just the valve cover gaskets and a plenum gasket to change. i like the list of other things you can get at after taking off the plenum as well.

Vacuum and Fuel lines are cheap and easy , And I plan on doing the Throttle body water hose deletion as well.
We don't need that down here.

you will need new fuel line and a new plenum gasket. you may want to get the silicone pcv and iacv hoses from z1 and replace them as well. makes putting it back together easier and a pretty good chance one of those old hoses may split. hardest part is getting the egr tubes out of the plenum. and like yoda said, delete the throttle body coolant lines while you have the plenum off and re-route the lines off the heater core hard lines.
