Valve Cover bolt torque 97 I30

Can anyone who has done a valve cover install on an 4th gen I30 or Max confirm that the final torque spec on the valve cover bolts (10) is 47-65lbs? it just seems like an awful lot of torque for a valve cover bolt..Thank You

I can guarantee you will strip all the recievers in the head.

There is an FSM for download somewhere on this board. Don't trust what other people say. It's not their car.

Thanks Maxnix...its 47.7-65.1 inch-lbs and not ft-lbs.

Pay attention to the tightening sequence, expecially if it is a two stage one.
