Valve ajustment

is there any advice and info on this ???

my manual says do it hot but seems like i would end up taken the valve cover on and off to many times to do soo'

any advice is appreciated

Never mind found an old post just went and did it now my truck idles better and rev's smoother but i still have a slight tick at idle but when im on the gas anything above 1200 its gone , i found a video of a ka24e with the same noise turned out to be a alternator pully so im going to junkyard tomarrow get a used one see what happens if that dosent help look out timing chain here i come
