What do you guys think is fair market value for a 2003 infiniti g35 coupe with 74,000 miles and no wear or tear? Everything works on it. My research concludes prices vary by looking on ebay and seeing G35 cars forsale here locally in the mid west. Even edmund used cars and NADA are conflicting. My car has spoiler,ac, sunroof no brembo brakes but has 20"chrome wheels. Dual climate control and tint. Any ideas? Verrryyy clean ride, not a nick on her.

How much it's worth depends on how you intend to get rid of it. Sounds like you have a clean, mosty stock base model with no sat nav or brembos. Shooting from the hip, my guess is it might fetch about $7500 if you trade it, perhaps $8500 if you sell it on your own. I'm guessing a dealer might probably ask $10,500 which contains haggle room. What does Edmunds or NADA predict?

Just curious, did you buy this car recently?

Ya I bought it recently and love it but I was just curious what they are going for cuz prices seem to vary widley on the net. I will keep this G untill the engine blows up. I see most G going on ebay for about $12,000.

Just for giggles, I just looked up Edmunds "True Market Value" and NADA's value guide. You're right, very Interesting that NADA's calculator shows the same car worth significantly more. It might be a fun excercise to research/compare how they arrive at their figures. (I'm not volunteering :) )

Looks like my guess was closer to the lower Edmunds figure. As far as what is the true value of your car, well, I guess if I were a seller I'd cite those NADA figures. And if I were a buyer, I'd use the Edmund's TMV.

NADA is usually way over-inflated. It's what the government uses in order to tax you, so its in their best interest to have a high value (for tax purposes).

I've always found kelly blue book to be much more accurate. It puts your car at about 13 grand for a private party sale, which seems a bit high to me... but maybe that's just the zip code I was using.
