Hey guys just wondering what a clean 1970 240z would sell for and also an 83 280zx also clean?reason for asking is in my city there is a 240z for 8500$ and a 280 for 8000$

condition, condition, condition, it's really hard to say without really going through each car, the 70 is the vin is under 14000, it's a series 1 chassis and a bit more desirable, if the vin is under 500 it's even more desirable, and if it's under 50 buy it now! as for the 280ZX, it's really rare to see them in that price range, I suppose if it's nearly perfect and under 80k origional miles it might be worth it but most clean drivers sell for half that

does it make them worth alot if the vin is under 50?

the lower the production number the better, anything under 100 is pretty desirable

for comparison, my car is number 11176, it's a series 1 but not low enough that it's really collectible

14k is still series 1 chassis, series 2 started at 18k, things that make the series 1 different are the hatch vents, the lack of vent on the "C" pillar, reversed master cylinder, transmission with removable bellhusing and adjustable pushrod ont he slave cylinder, so it's still the most desirable chassis but is it in good enough shape to justify the price?

From what I've seen locally, s30's sell for a heck of a lot more than s130's

then again we take into account that im in canada some values differ a bit
