Does anyone have any experience with the Value Advantage Nissan parts, vs the "OEM" parts? I'm getting my brakes done at the dealer and they said they have had no complaints about the Value Advantage. Thoughts?

These advantage parts are typically through a different parts channel vs the regular OE line --- they are fine for an older car. Manufacturers have to do this, especially for collision parts. Insurance companies are writing policies that allow for alternate aftermarket parts -- the manufacturers have to have a second tier line or they loose out on all this business.

the last i looked the OE oil filter was made in Japan the advantage was China -- a lot of dealers use the advantage oil filter when doing oil changes.

I happen to like the OE pads for Nissans -- I went with Zimmerman rotors. If I can get Zimmerman aftermarket -- I go that route.

Got warped rotor as well as brake pads replaced using Value advantage parts about a year back. They have worked well so far.

I stopped and looked at them yesterday before dropping it off last night. They looked fine. Made in the USA. They put them on today. I also needed both wheel bearing hubs and an outer tie rod end, unexpectedly. Oh well, things happen. I'll post about the brakes after I've ran them a bit.
