Hey guys well as of now I dont know what to think. By looking at it I keep thinking that Allstate will just total it. All I was thinking was the way Bobotech was saying, look at it as a prof shop thats going to do it and how much they'll charge. Allstate gave me two shops that they certified around my way. But they havent seen the damage yet. This weekend they will pick it up and see how much damage and what the outcome will be. I wanted to take it to some shops and see what they would charge but I cant move it because the alignment is really bad now and I dont want to pay for a tow truck for the whole day. Dad said as long as I am ok he could care less about the car, he said if they total it then we will just buy it back.

Yea so a good friend of mine said I should let them total it, buy it back and do the work our selves. He (my friend) works at a body shop and we can get all the tools and machines to fix it if we can. But I was thinking of parting it out and get more money and get an SE like assassin7420 said. IF I do decide to part IF they total it, Slappy the wheels are yours. Assassin7420 all the stuff you need I needed for my car also lol.

P.S.- Im hoping for the best and somehow they dont total it and actually can get it fixed. Its my first self bought car and I fell in love with it lol.

Pull it out as much as possible and go with over fenders.

If the frame is straight...But if the insurance cover the replacement of the panel, go for it.

+1 to being totaled. Even if they plasma cut it, its going to be a tad bit off. Let 'em total it, take what you can out of it to sell IE differential, 5 lug, etc and let the tow truck have it.

Buy yourself a nicer one. Thats not worth fixing, imo

Yeah, My new s14 has none of it so i just have a big hole with a bunch of wires. Plus every bump my cd player bounces and skips.

I know how you feel about your first car. I let mine go last NOV. Just think. You can part that out and have money for a cleaner 96 SE with some extra for mods.

If you do go with fixing it good luck its not going to be easy.

^ Thanks man, yea so hopefully I will know by Monday depending on how lazy Allstate gets. So far if totaled I am leaning towards part out. But S14 no matter what year are really rare around here.

Yeah, there is no way that's not totaled.

I can't believe a cop said you didn't need a police report. I would have got his badge number and sued the police district.

Any time you are in an accident of any sort you should get a police report. Hell, even if there is no visible damage its a good idea to get one, just in case you have problems with the car later.

I think that's true for just about anyone who is native to a poorer country. Places that have less parts readily available makes more people learn to fix things with minimal parts. Which in turn means they usually have a high degree of skill to compensate. That's why your average American can't change a tire, but your average Mexican can rebuild your engine LOL.

Yeah, in-between the back roads for Viers Mill Rd and Newport Mill Rd going onto Weller and Georgia Avenue... I'm assuming anyway since its a back road way I take and did that day...

Its true! Anyway, I did take notice, sorry to hear of your alleged abuse and the accident. You should have told the police that the other guy sounded like he was on drugs... (MCPD loves that shyt...)
