VAFC?

Hey Guys I got a VAFC from a friend. Would I hook up a VAFC the same way you hook up a SAFC ? except for the Vtec part .The VAFC works the same as a SAFC too right?

yes it will work the same jsut wont be able to control your vtec with it, i wish we could

And the bright side is, you can use the vtec wire to activate something else down teh line that is RPM activated and requries 12v.

Honda = MAP

Nissan = MAF

That'll cause issues, don't you think?

Its has sensor in - out just like an SAFC

Yeah, any AFC can regulate different sensors, MAP or MAF or whats that other one... Cardon?something. Anyway yeah they are exactly the same, but VAFC has an output signal wire.

i was told that it does not have the hot-wire/karman setting, only for use with MAP sensors. not sure how reliable the source is though....

That would be odd since most Hondas are MAP, and they run VAFC. And I know that my SAFCII and my friends SAFC have it.

has anyone used a CA18Det Fuel pump before? how much HP can those hold in a KA24Det before they give out?and Can those be install in a 240sx?
