so you have the solenoid, and its receives an electric on/off from the ECM to open the plunger or not, and that plunger allows vaccum to flow threw it, and vacuum as we know is a sucking flow going towards the source of the vacuum usually the intake manifold
but ive noticed that every vacuum solenoid ( S.C.V., E.G.R., P.A.I.R.) have a line going into the solenoid and two connected at the other end.
so my question is this...the vacuum sorce is comming from the single one going into the solenoid then when the solenoid is acivated it allows the vacuum to continue into both the other lines that are connected on the opposite end correct???

here is an example lets say were talking about that swirl control solenoid, its recieving vacuum from the line on the left and when activated applies vacuum to the two lines on the right side, top being the swirl valve and the bottom being the FPR, branching off into the lines under the manifold going back to the throttle body (i think) and to the colector on the side by the booster?
correct??????
