Hey

I was wondering when doing the vacumm lines if i have to use all the vacuum spots? I know where they all go but I was wondering if you could just use one. Like the small left whole on the TB, could I just T that from the FPR to the BOV then to the boost gauge? Would it make a difference? Then with the external wastegate vacuum, directly to the turbo? Is it possible to do this? The reason why, im not sure just curious.

The wastegate shouldnt be tapped off the throttle body, but yes you can use one hole for everything. I personally use one hole for the FPR, boost gauge, and bov.

thanks budd, but my resources were from you in the first place. You used both holes and I was wondering if you could use just one.

Here they are, tapped off one hole. One for the FPR, boost gauge, and BOV/Recirc.

What do you use or put to cap off the other TB hole?

Whatever you can find, they make little caps specifically to cap off vacuum holes. But anything that will keep an airtight seal will work. I think right now I have like 1 inch of vacuum hose sealed off by a screw down its throat.

The port is supposed to be run off the cold pipe. There is a V-bend in the stock piping for the wastegate. I really could care less where people run their wastegates, but i'll stick to stock while its still there.

Hey Speed Racer the instructions on my Greddy boost gauge say to tap into the line between the FPR and intake manifold, but I just hooked it up to another one of the unused vacuum fittings, and cheated my electronic boost controller off of that. Will this work ok, or should I redo it so that it is between the FPR and intake manifold?

The FPR gets the same signal as the other vacuum ports on the tb. Its fine if you decided not to tap it between the FPR.
