First the hose that comes from the top of throttle body and winds down along the intake tube (skinny), where does it go? The thick one from the back of the intake mannifold goes to the Canister I believe.

The boost valve, starting from the right is the harness plug, -then there is a tube (call it #1)in the middle (don't know where it goes), -the last tube (#2) goes to the metal tube which is from the intake hose to the blow off valve.

-attached to hose #2 are tubes with a t-piece, where do they go (all three tubes)? I know one connects to the valve itself (right?).

This is a crappy way to answer, but it will have to do for now. Look my pics up under Member's Rides. I think that will probably answer your questions, if you zoom in. If not, I will try to check on it tomorrow for you.

Doesn't help! Did you get rid of your boost solenoid? McKinney told me to but I want to wire it stock first.

Ok I'll try my best to explain this... from this ghetto diagram I drew myself...

1. You have one vac hose that goes from the throttlebody attaches to the top intake elbow and continues on to the lower nipple on the carbon canister.

2. You have another vac hose towards the rear of the intake manifold that attaches to the top intake elbow and contues on to the upper nipple on the carbon canister.

3. next vac hose towards the rear of the intake manifold (right next to hose #2) goes to the blow off valve.

now for the boost valve (is that what its called?)starting at the lowest point on the valve closest to the plug

4. the lower vac hose goes for about 6 inches and is T-ed off to vac hoses #5 and #6

5. One vac hose from the T on vac hose #4 goes to the wastegate actuator.

6. another vac hose from the other side of the T goes to a nipple on the black intake pipe right before the upper intake elbow.

7. finally, the upper vac hose from the boost valve goes to the blow off recirculation tube

HTH and good luck!!!

It's clear to me now. What I'm missing is the #6 nipple/bung on that intake pipe (going to the intercooler).

Any suggestions on what I can do to eliminate that. The IC piping I am using is pieces of ss pipe and silicone, so I don't have that nipple. I will have to go tomorrow to the weld shop if no other suggestions.

Thanks.

What if I don't have the charcoal canister?? I don't know if I pulled it off of the Skyline, can I just plug off those vacuum lines, or what should I do?

hmm I wonder if you can tap a line from the intake manifold... i'm just learning about all this stuff too...

Also if your not running a carb canister you can just plug the lines up

This is according to Mack at McKinney:#6 bring this tube to the fuel pressure regulator hose. It will need to be cut and place a t-fitting.

So if you have custom IC piping and don't have the nipple on your piping, just do that. Tried driving the car and it seems to be working fine. I can feel the car getting some boost and hear the blow off valve going. I don't know about the waste gate opening though. I haven't really stepped on the gas to get the boost that high.

Hmm so if they say to tap the fpr line then, i guess you can hook the #6 to any nipple on the manifold, maybe an unused one from the Carb canister

I don't know about the hooking it up to the cannister lines. I know one of them sucks (fat) and the other blows (skinny). But going the FPR route works.
