where can i get a replacement pcv hose? mine is flat and I am worried it will collapse further not allowing proper ventilation.

i am also in desperate need of solving my p0505
i just dont understand why it idles fine every now and then but mostly it idles way to low. sometimes it pretty much always idles low when in gear however when in park its a 50 50 thing sometimes correct idle sometimes low idle.

it could be as simple as the valve but, it did not do this prior to me repairing the camshaft. so im just not convinced 100% that its the valve but at this mileage it very well could be. 150,000 miles 2000 qx4

Take the old hose into your local autoparts store and have them cut you the right size hose by the foot. Then replace and your done. Very inexpensive :bigthumb:

As a very experienced mechanic. I feel like an a** but now very happy. I retraced my steps and found that the plug was not making full contact. I wiggled the plug and it clicked in place. It simply wasn't connected. Wow. Super fail. Super success. Been battling this for 20,000 miles
