I searched, but I suck at searching.Ok, I'm a noob to Nissan's and forced induction, so here goes. I just installed a FMIC on my S13 that has a black top SR20DET. I have a vacuum line that comes off a 3 way connector and used to go into the air duct (the pipe that runs accross the fan shroud into the throttle body). Where does it go now? Do I need it? Should I leave it open or plug it? Help please.

Thanks for the link to the nice diagram, but that does not answer my question. That shows me how the vacuum lines go on a stock motor. I need to know what to do with a vacuum line that has nowhere to go now.

Okay just do a little reading and hunting around and you will get it. Just simplify that diagram. No charcoal canister no vaccum lines. Probably no wastegate valve control selenoid no line, no egr no line. Recirculation valve serves the same purpose a a bov needs a line anywhere after the throttle blade. Fuel pressure regulator needs a line after the throttle blade. The wastegate actuator needs a line somewhere after the throttle blade so it opens when the intake manifold reaches set pressure.

It can be hooked up ic pipes then it opens when IC piping reaches set pressure. IMO hook it up to the manifold, I know other people might have different opinions. Also sorie i will not spoon feed you the answer to your question you should take the initiative to learn it you will be much better of in the long run.

Ok, well thanks. I have been doing some reading on the various vacuum line set ups as well as the billions of opinions as to why to do it this way or that way. I already have ie T'd into another vacuum line and the car runs fine. I was just wanting to see what others did with theirs and why.

I also find it interesting that you don't want to "spoon feed" me the answer in hopes that I will learn something. Really then, I wonder if this is a forum I should ask questions on. I would't want anyone to have to help me out lol. Anyway, this is my first Nissan and my first turbocharged car. I have always had hondas/acuras that were na. So this isn't my first time in the garage doing my own work.

But hey, thanks again. I will find other means in which to find answers to my questions. Asking is just outdated or overated I suppose
