i have a sr20det red top with gt28turbo... i acquired this car on a trade not knowing much about the engine. i had got in a wreck and had to replace a lot but its all back together now. took about 9 months so the car has been sitting a bit. i need help with my vacuum lines on my boost controller..(i dont know where they go)... and my b.o.v. line, i dont know where it goes. now here is the biggie and my main concern. if i start the car it idles pretty rough and will not allow me to go over 2000 rpms..or so...i herd this is a safe mode.. i dont know...i have herd its my maf... or wiring.. is that all it can be?? what about tps? any1 know how to check these out (test them) or cross-reference them. thankso yea i have pics but i dont know how to get them on here let me know thanks again

Your rev problem is defiantly your maf wiring. I have seen it happen a million times. Your tps will not keep the car from revving over 2,000 rpms. Check out this link on where your vac lines go. http://srownersclub.com/faq/index.asp

Are your vacuum lines hooked to anything? If not that will cause most of those problems, a vacuum leak will cause unmeatered air to enter the system after the MAFS, this will cause a lean condition and bad bad things can happen. dont drive the car until you fix it
